Our Sunday Featured Shop is...

Our Sunday featured shop is CozyCornerCrochets

My shop is a little bare right now due to some sales. More importantly I've been designing some exciting new yoga socks which will be listed soon. Also, one new pair of socks will come in my own hand dyed yarn.

All items are crocheted by me with you in mind. Let me know if you would like a different look to your item. I am always making new designs, so check back to see what I've posted.

My blog is https/www.cozycornercrochets.blogspot
Please follow me also on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/CozyCornerCrochets

I am a retired nurse and I spend my time crocheting, playing the piano, and taking care of my six chickens. I've been married for 25 years and have two grown children. I love going to my church and singing in the choir. We enjoy taking road trips and going to baseball games. I am very involved in crochet/knitting groups in town, and I organize a fibromyalgia social group as well as a cribbage group.

Our Saturday Featured shop is....

Our Saturday shop of the day is WorldofHuggles

I am an artist who has always had a passion for art.

My love for God, children and animals led me to develop the creation of "Huggles" TM. These whimsical characters and lovable furry critters surround me in my studio on the west coast of Florida. With my husband, Bob, my teenage son, Mikey, a couple of overly energetic shephard mixes, and a church full of wonderful children, I am never at a loss for inspiration.

Today, I incorporate my illustrations with other paper, clay, ceramics and wood crafts.

With a variety of Huggles characters already created and new ones being developed all the time, my series of little inspirational characters make wonderful and unique handmade gifts for everyone special in your life.

Huggles.... will crawl into your heart and warm your soul.

Custom and special orders are always welcome. For more Huggles, visit my website http://www.worldofhuggles.com

Fridays Shop of the day

Fridays shop of the day is Kristin Einsel from MindsEyeImages

Hi! I'm Kristin and I'm an amateur photographer. I love seeing the world through the lens of a camera and capturing God's creation, as well as the simple things in life that other people might not notice. I hope you enjoy my photos as much as I loved taking them. :)

"Can you catch the wind?
See a breeze?
It's presence is revealed by the leaves on a tree
An image of my faith in the unseen
In my mind's eye, I see Your face
You smile as You show me grace..."

Thursdays Shop of the day

Thursdays shop of the day is Julie Lockhart from CoparAingeal

I really do love what I do. I love looking down into my hands and seeing what was nothing moments before, to finding that I have created something both beautiful and interesting. I don't mind the rough skin or messed up fingernails. I thank God that he allows me to work. I can't wait to see how my work evolves.

I can't really nail down a starting from for myself as to when I began creating jewelry. I seem to have always been tweeking one thing or another. I remember making friendship bracelets on an old piece of wood that my dad nailed 2 small nails into. Then I remember weaving hair wraps on anyone with bearly enough hair for me to attach one.

13 years ago I took my grandmother to the Mayo Clinic for some tests. We where there for two weeks. While she would be testing I would walk around and just check out the city. That was when stumbled into a bead stop and bought my first spools of art wire. I spent the rest of the time that we where there sitting in the hotel weaving intrecate little baskets. Things just continued to evolve from there and here I am now. =)

"People have appreciated the beauty of copper and used it for at least 10,000 years. There is more to copper than just its lovely color and its decorative use.

Ancient Egyptians used copper for their water pipes. Explorers like Christopher Columbus relied on copper sheathing on his ships' hulls to protect them from barnacles and other infestations. Modern ships still use copper based paints to do the job.

Later on in the 18th and 19th centuries, scientists like Ampere, Faraday and Ohm revolutionised our use of copper for they discovered copper's amazing electrical conductivity and heat transfer properties. It is now a very important industrial metal. We also use copper in coinage, in cookware, roofing, statues and in jewelry. Sterling silver contains 7.5% copper. Brass and bronze are copper alloys or mixtures.

Copper also has biomedical applications. It is biostatic which means bacteria won't grow on it which is why some hospitals have copper door knobs. Copper piping is vital for air-conditioning systems to reduce the possibility of Legionnaire's disease. Some companies like Cupron have found ways of incorporating copper into textiles making antimicrobial bed linen for hospitals possible. These textiles will still work despite numerous washings.

But copper is like oil - supplies are finite. The price of copper has been rising sharply since 1999 although it has dropped recently due to the global economy slowdown. If world demand for copper continues to grow, one estimate suggests it may be as little as 25 years before supplies to run out."

Wednesdays shop of the day!

Meet Laura from LaurasCreativeAttic  our shop of the day!
Laura was our very first team member on Christian Elite Team!

Welcome to Laura's Creative Attic! My name is Laura.

I've always enjoyed making crafts to give as presents to my family and friends. They always enjoyed their gifts and told me I should sell my crafts. In August 2010, encouraged by my friend Nancy and with my husband Mike's blessing, I started Laura's Creative Attic.

I make table runners, placemats, hot pads, pot holders, fabric coasters, shopping bags, checkbook covers, credit card wallets, luggage tags, wall hangings, pillows and other crafts. I'm always looking for new items to make!

I specialize in traditional & country fabrics. Most of the fabrics I use are floral or fruits, with some dogs, cats & birds as well.

I love to cook, sew, cross stitch, read & collect recipes. I've been married to Mike since 1995. We have 1 "child" Gizmo (my very spoiled deerhead chihuahua), and am the proud Aunt & spoiler of 6 nephews, 1 niece and several other children we're Aunt & Uncle to.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me!

Shop of the day!

Meet Kathy Krazl from Divine Reflections on Etsy, her shop has been chosen as our shop of the day!

First came the hobby…then came the passion. I have few passions in my life and beading is one of them. Number One is God and all things of Him. Second is my family. We are dedicated and committed to one another. Third is beadwork, which is a natural reflection of the first two passions.

Hence the title of this shop: DIVINE REFLECTIONS. Unique about my beadwork is His Word associated with each piece. The creation of these pieces takes many different forms. Often the scripture comes first and I ask Him how that could be expressed in beadwork.
Other times I am attracted by the forms, colors or process of the piece and the verse is established upon completion of the work. This means that prayer is a very integral ingredient present in the development of each item. I pray for the potential buyer and once a purchase is made, I lift up this person by name to Him.

Technically, I am primarily self-taught using any and all resources available. My expectations center on sturdily crafted, wearable, and “pleasing to the eyes” jewelry. I strive to: And whatever you do [no matter what it is] in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus and in [dependence upon] His Person, giving praise to God the Father through Him. Colossians 3:17 Amplified Thank you for browsing this shop and I hope you find something that is pleasing to your eyes.
